Categories in 2023 include Singer-Songwriter, Unsigned, Pop, AC, Lyrics Only, Jazz, Blues, RnB, Acoustic/Folk, Crisis and Protest Songs, Teen, Instrumental, Country, Love Songs, Retro and more. OLYMPIC THEME
We are re-introducing the Olympic Theme category in 2023 and we are looking for songs to promote during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.The last UKSC Olympic Theme winner was covered and released by many artists and produced by Mel Shaw,  Founder of the Juno Awards and Founding President of CARAS, The Canadian Academy Of Recording Arts And Sciences. Everyone who enters is given free entry in the LOTY Awards (worth $30), a package of song pitching opportunities to promote their work (worth $50) and other great benefits, plus every song receives a Star Rating from our judges, an Award Certificate for each song, and an option to include your song in The International Songwriting Contest using the same UKSC entry form.
