The Music Video Category was introduced into the contest in 2014 and the winners in this second year are Up Is Down by Mike Hyden and My Favourite Time Of Year by Leigh Haggerwood. These two entries could not be more different from each other but are so equally good in their own ways that the judges decided on joint winners. Up Is Down is a simple, gentle and touching production that uses clever silhouette imagery to sensitively compliment and express the music, lyrics, and sentiment of the song. My Favourite Time Of Year is at the other end of the spectrum with such big production values and large cast that it must have required a daunting amount of work, organization and dedication to put together. The finalist Music Video entries listed below were also all contenders to win this year:
MUSIC VIDEO FINALISTS:
(Just Stop) Telling Me Not To - Natasha Duarte
Bad Love - Sira Mayo & Gilberto Martin
Follow Your Star - Michael J. Ashworth
