THE STUART EPPS PRIZE
The legendary british producer (and UKSC contest judge) Stuart Epps will work with this year's UK Songwriting Contest winner! Stuart has worked with some of the world's greatest songwriters including Elton John, Oasis, Robbie Williams and George Harrison and this year we are pleased to announce that in 2015 one UKSC entrant will be chosen to work with Stuart as part of the Epps Music Productions stable of songwriters and artists. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work closely with top names in the business and develop your songwrting and industry contacts. In the video Stuart talks about the UKSC and about songwriting and he describes how he has learned to spot a good song after years of working with some of the best in the business. |

SIGNED BOOKS FROM RICHARD NILES
A number of entrants this year will receive copies of Richard Niles' important book "The Invisible Artist" about the role of arrangers in popular music. We have posted a great little video for this here. This is an informative, authoritative and well researched book that every songwriter should read and Richard has even agreed to sign some copies for winners.
ONE ON ONE WITH SHELLY PEIKEN
Multi platinum songwriter and UKSC judge Shelly Peiken will mentor and critique a lucky entrant this year in a personal one-on-one session. Shelly is a very successful songwriter who has written number one hits for Christina Aguilera and has had songs recorded by Meat Loaf, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Ronan Keting, Backstreet Boys, Cher, Gladys Knight, Gloria Gaynor, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, NSYNC and many others. This year there will be three Special Awards of the outstanding songwriting software Mozart 12.
